Which PostRSS Plan Supports Which Platform? A Clear 2026 Breakdown

Updated: 2026-08-20

This post originally announced, back in December 2016, that PostRSS's Start and Professional plans had been updated to support all social platforms — Facebook, X (then Twitter), LinkedIn, and VKontakte. Plan structures have been revised more than once since then, and platform support today looks different from that 2016 announcement. Below is the accurate, current breakdown, so you can pick the right plan the first time.

One of the most common points of confusion when choosing a PostRSS plan isn't the price — it's figuring out exactly which social platforms each tier actually unlocks. Since plan structures evolve over time, it's easy to end up on outdated information (including, ironically, from PostRSS's own older blog posts). Here's what's accurate today.

Platform Support by Plan Tier

Plan Facebook X LinkedIn Pinterest VKontakte
Free ✓ (page)
Start ($5/mo) ✓ (page)
Professional ($10/mo) ✓ (page)
Ultimate ($40/mo)
Enterprise tiers

The clearest takeaway: X and LinkedIn support currently start at the Ultimate plan. If your automation strategy depends on either of those two platforms, Start and Professional won't cover you — you'll need to go straight to Ultimate or an Enterprise tier, even if your target count and task volume would otherwise fit a lower tier.

Why This Matters Before You Subscribe

It's a common mistake to pick a plan based purely on price or task volume, only to discover after signing up that a platform you need isn't included at that tier. Since PostRSS's plan-to-platform mapping has changed over the years (as this very post demonstrates), it's worth double-checking current platform support against the official Pricing page before committing — rather than relying on older blog posts, including ones from PostRSS's own archive, that may reflect a previous plan structure.

Matching Your Platform Needs to a Plan

  • Only need Facebook? Start (or even Free, for very light usage) covers you at the lowest cost.
  • Need Facebook plus visual platforms (Pinterest, VKontakte)? Professional is the natural fit — it adds those two without paying for X/LinkedIn you won't use.
  • Need X or LinkedIn in the mix? You'll need Ultimate at minimum, since these two platforms aren't available on Start or Professional.
  • Managing many accounts across all platforms? One of the Enterprise tiers, sized to your target count, gives you full platform access at scale.

Why Plan-to-Platform Mapping Changes Over Time

Platform support tiers get restructured periodically for a mix of reasons: some platforms cost more to integrate and maintain (API access, review processes, ongoing compliance with platform policy changes), and some platforms are used by a smaller share of the overall user base, making it more sustainable to reserve them for higher tiers rather than including them everywhere by default.

This is a normal part of how SaaS pricing evolves — but it does mean that plan comparisons more than a year or two old should always be double-checked against current pricing before you rely on them.

How to Verify Current Platform Support Yourself

  1. Visit the Pricing section directly on postrss.com rather than relying on a cached or older page.
  2. Check the "Post RSS Feed and CSV file links to…" line under each plan — this lists exactly which platforms that tier supports.
  3. If you're already a subscriber and unsure what your current plan includes, check your account dashboard, which reflects your actual active plan's capabilities.
  4. When in doubt, reach out through PostRSS's contact form — plan details are confirmed directly rather than guessed at.

Getting Started

Once you know exactly which platforms you need — and which plan tier actually includes them — signing up takes just a few minutes:

  1. Log in or create an account at app.postrss.com.
  2. Select the plan tier that matches your required platform list from the table above.
  3. Connect your RSS feed and authorize your target accounts.
  4. Activate automation and confirm your first few posts sync correctly to each connected platform.

Choosing the right plan the first time saves you the hassle of upgrading mid-month just to unlock a platform you assumed was already included.
