We receiving many questions:
So the way to fix it is by going to Accounts menu and click on Synchronize link.
Can I add a second account for the same network?
Before adding a second account on any network — Facebook, X, LinkedIn, VKontakte or any other of the 66 supported networks — log out of that service first, then add the account to PostRSS.
If X is the destination you care about, our auto-post RSS to X page covers that setup on its own.
Our auto-post RSS to Facebook page handles the Facebook configuration end to end.
PostRSS keeps a list of the social accounts you have connected, and for each account the Pages, boards, channels or profiles you can post to. That list is read from the network at the moment you connect. If something changes on the network side afterwards, PostRSS does not see it until you synchronize. Typical moments to click Synchronize in the Accounts menu are:
Synchronizing refreshes the connection and reloads the list, so the new destinations appear and can be chosen as targets.
If a Page is still missing after synchronizing, the reason is almost always on the Facebook side. When you connect Facebook, Meta asks which Pages PostRSS may use. A Page that was not ticked in that dialog is not shared with PostRSS. Run the connection again and make sure every Page you want is selected. You also need a role on the Page that allows publishing; a Page you only follow cannot be connected.
Remember that PostRSS posts to Facebook Pages only. Facebook Groups and personal profiles cannot be automated any more, because Meta closed the Groups publishing API in April 2024, so they will never appear in the list.
Most networks remember who is logged in inside your browser. If you click to add another account while still logged in to the first one, the network simply confirms the same account again. That is why the tip above matters: log out of the service first, log in with the second account, and then add it in PostRSS. Each connected account then has its own list of destinations, and you can connect the same feed to all of them.
Once the destination is in the list, create a target: choose the feed, choose the Page, board or channel, and pick a message format and posting settings. One feed can go to many targets, each with its own settings. How many targets and which networks you can use depends on your plan; the pricing page lists the current limits, and the step-by-step setup guide walks through the whole process.
Open the Accounts menu in your PostRSS account and click Synchronize. PostRSS then refreshes your connected accounts and reloads the Pages, boards and channels you can post to.
Connect Facebook again and make sure the Page is selected in Meta’s permission dialog. You also need a role on the Page that allows publishing.
Log out of that network in your browser first, log in with the second account, and then add it in PostRSS. Otherwise the network confirms the account that is already logged in.
No. PostRSS posts to Facebook Pages only, because Meta closed the Facebook Groups publishing API in April 2024, and personal profiles cannot be automated either.
