Expanding your digital footprint means reaching audiences on the platforms they actually use. PostRSS enables automated content syndication directly to your personal VKontakte (VK) profile, alongside your other primary channels — no logging into multiple dashboards required.
The auto-post RSS to VK page goes through the same process field by field.
VKontakte automation is available starting on PostRSS's Professional plan ($10/month), alongside Facebook and Pinterest.
Get your personal profile automated in a few steps:
This guide covers automating a personal VK profile. If you're managing a business or brand presence instead, see our dedicated guide for auto-posting to a VKontakte Page or Community, which covers the setup specific to managing a business account rather than a personal one.
VKontakte remains a dominant platform in parts of Eastern Europe, making it a meaningful addition for anyone with an existing or growing audience in those regions. Since automation handles distribution but not translation, PostRSS publishes content in whatever language your source feed uses — reaching a genuinely local VK audience typically means maintaining a separate, localized content feed rather than relying on automatic translation.
Each new item in your feed becomes one post on VK. The text comes from the message format you pick for the target: PostRSS has nine formats built from the item title, the item description, the page title or your own static text. A personal profile usually reads best with a short, natural line, so many people use the title alone or the title followed by a brief description.
The image is taken from the feed item itself (an enclosure, a media:content tag or the first image in the item). When the feed has no picture, PostRSS uses the Open Graph image of the linked page, so the post still carries the real picture from your article. The link points back to the original page, and you can add your own query parameters to it, such as utm_source=postrss, to see VK visits separately in your analytics.
A personal profile is read by friends and followers who know you, not only by customers. Posting everything your website publishes can quickly feel like advertising, so it pays to be selective:
Posting to personal VK profiles is currently marked as being tested: the connection is built and is waiting for VK’s approval of the permission. VK pages and communities are available today. If you want to start publishing right away, connect your VK page or community first and add the personal profile as a second target once it is fully available. Both can use the same feed, each with its own format and settings.
If you want to share older articles as well, pick the date to start from and turn on catch-up: PostRSS then also posts older feed items that were never published, in the order you choose (newer first, older first or random).
VK rarely stands alone. The Professional plan includes 10 targets, 10,000 posts per month and 48 network types, so the same feed can go to your VK page, your Facebook Page, a Pinterest board and several team chats at once. The pricing page lists the current limits of every plan, and the complete VKontakte auto-posting guide walks through the setup in more detail.
Yes — each is configured as a separate Target with its own authorization, so you can run both simultaneously from the same or different feeds.
The underlying mechanism is the same — feed monitoring, image extraction, scheduled syncing — though VK’s own interface and post formatting differ slightly.
Typically within about 5 minutes of publishing on standard plans, or about 1 minute on Enterprise tiers.
Personal VK profiles are currently being tested while VK reviews the permission. VK pages and communities work today, so you can start with a page and add your profile later.
Yes. Keyword filters let you include or exclude items by words in their title and description, so only the content you want on your profile gets posted there.
