In the modern digital landscape, maintaining a competitive social media presence across multiple platforms requires systems that go beyond basic link sharing. For high-volume publishers, digital agencies, and expanding brands, simply streaming a standard article feed is only the beginning. To achieve real operational efficiency, marketers need infrastructure that allows for bulk content uploads and precise timing control.
Advanced social media automation bridges the gap between raw content data and audience engagement. By combining CSV file imports with advanced scheduling, you can run comprehensive, large-scale marketing campaigns largely on autopilot.
While dynamic RSS feeds are excellent for sharing real-time website updates, many marketing strategies also rely on evergreen materials, historical archives, or curated content packets that don't originate from a live feed. Manually drafting individual updates for each of these assets is slow and repetitive.
PostRSS.com removes that friction through CSV-based bulk import. Instead of working item by item, you can compile your content — links, images, descriptions — into a structured CSV file. Once uploaded to your dashboard, PostRSS parses the columns, maps the links, associates the corresponding images, and prepares the full batch for distribution across your connected networks.
To get clean, reliable results from a bulk import, your CSV generally needs a few consistent columns:
Keeping column headers consistent and every row complete (no missing image links or titles) is the single biggest factor in avoiding malformed posts after import. It's worth reviewing a sample of 5-10 rows manually before uploading a file with hundreds of entries, since a formatting mistake in the template repeats across every row it's applied to.
Publishing consistently is only half the picture — delivering content to your audience at the times they're actually active is what drives stronger click-through rates. Platforms tend to reward accounts whose posting activity aligns with genuine audience engagement patterns rather than arbitrary timing.
PostRSS's premium plans include an advanced time selection calendar built to give you control over your posting timeline:
Built for higher-volume use cases, PostRSS's infrastructure processes large content batches without requiring proportionally more manual work — a campaign with 500 items takes roughly the same setup effort as one with 50, once your CSV template and scheduling rules are in place.
Whether pulling from a live RSS stream or a bulk CSV file, PostRSS applies the same image and metadata handling — so a 500-item bulk campaign looks just as polished, post by post, as a single manually-triggered update.
By combining automated content ingestion with batch scheduling, a single person can manage multi-channel, high-volume distribution that would otherwise require a larger dedicated team monitoring and posting manually.
Say you have 200 evergreen blog posts that never got proper social distribution when they were first published. Rather than manually re-sharing each one:
Setting this up requires no programming experience:
Let automation manage the daily grind of large-scale content distribution in the background, freeing your team to focus on strategy rather than manual posting.
CSV upload is available on the Professional plan and above, and every row in the file becomes one post. Before uploading a big file, multiply the number of rows by the number of targets the file will go to: a 500-row file sent to three targets means 1,500 posts, and all of them count toward your monthly allowance and the per-target limit.
The Professional plan includes 10,000 posts per month, 10 targets and up to 2,000 posts per target. Professional Plus raises this to 30,000 posts, 20 targets and 3,000 posts per target, and Ultimate to 125,000 posts, 50 targets and 5,000 posts per target. If a campaign is close to a limit, split it into smaller files and run them over several weeks. The current numbers for every plan are on the pricing page.
A CSV import and an RSS feed are not an either-or choice. Most teams keep their website feed running for everything new and use CSV files for the content that never passes through that feed: archive articles, product collections, event series or curated links. Both kinds of source can post to the same targets, and each target keeps its own settings, so you decide separately how each network receives the content.
When the same Facebook Page receives both the live feed and a bulk campaign, use posting windows and the maximum number of posts per update to keep the total rhythm calm. New articles then still go out promptly, while the evergreen batch fills the quieter hours in between.
A large campaign is only worth repeating if you can see what it brought. PostRSS can add your own query parameters to every link, for example utm_source=postrss with a separate campaign name for each CSV file. Your analytics then separates the traffic from the evergreen batch from the traffic of your daily feed, and you can compare networks side by side.
It also helps to keep each campaign in its own file with a clear name and date. If a later review shows that one topic performed well, you can build the next file around it instead of starting from scratch. All scheduling and source options are described on the features page.

Yes. Many users keep their website feed for new content and use CSV files for archive or campaign content. Both can post to the same targets, and each target keeps its own settings.
Use posting windows or exact posting times, and set the maximum number of posts per update. The batch is then spread over hours or days instead of appearing in one burst.
