Which Connections Are Available Right Now

Official app connections depend on what each platform allows. On Facebook, PostRSS posts to Pages only: Meta closed the publishing API for Groups in April 2024, and personal profiles cannot be automated either. Some networks are marked “being tested” on the PostRSS site. For those, the connection is built and working on the PostRSS side, and publishing is waiting for the platform’s app approval. At the moment this applies to Instagram, TikTok, OK.ru, Google Business Profile and BAND. Reddit is temporarily unavailable. Does PostRSS ever ask for my social media password?

No. Each network is connected through that platform’s own authorization window, and PostRSS receives an access token, not your password. You can revoke that access from your PostRSS account or from the security settings of the social network.

Can PostRSS post to Facebook Groups or personal profiles?

No. PostRSS posts to Facebook Pages only, because Meta shut down the Facebook Groups publishing API in April 2024. Personal profiles cannot be automated either.

What does “being tested” mean next to a network?

It means the connection is built and working on the PostRSS side, and publishing is waiting for the platform’s app approval. Currently this applies to Instagram, TikTok, OK.ru, Google Business Profile and BAND.

Can I connect several accounts on the same network?

Yes. One feed can post to several targets, such as multiple Facebook Pages, and each target keeps its own settings. The number of targets you can use depends on your plan.
