How to Auto-Post an RSS Feed to Telegraph (2026)

Updated: 2026-09-28

Short answer: open Accounts → Add new Telegraph account in PostRSS and either paste an existing Telegraph access token or let PostRSS create a Telegraph account for you in one step. Then open Célplatformok → Add feed, choose Telegraph in Target settings and add your feed under Add source (Type = RSS feed, Link = your feed address). Each new feed item becomes its own Telegraph page — clean, fast-loading and easy to share, including inside Telegram. Telegraph is included from the Professional plan.

Telegraph is Telegram's publishing tool: a page, a title, some text, no account required and nothing to configure. Pages load instantly, render natively inside Telegram, and have no navigation, no cookie banner and no sidebar. It is the closest thing the web still has to plain text with a URL. This guide is the long version; the auto-post RSS to Telegraph page has the short one.

Why anyone would publish a feed to Telegraph

The obvious objection is that you already have a website. The reason this is useful anyway comes down to how links behave inside Telegram.

A Telegram channel post linking to an ordinary website gives readers a preview card and a tap that leaves the app. A Telegraph link opens instantly, in place, formatted for the phone, with none of the weight a normal page carries. For an audience that lives in Telegram, that difference is the difference between an article being read and an article being scrolled past.

The second reason is speed in places where the web is slow or partially blocked. Telegraph pages are tiny and served from Telegram's infrastructure, which makes them reachable when a normal site is not.

The token, or no token at all

Telegraph is unusual in having essentially no onboarding. You can paste an existing access token if you already have one — anyone who has used Telegraph's own editor has one — or let PostRSS create a Telegraph account for you as part of the setup.

There is no registration form, no email confirmation and no application review. Keep the token safe: it is what identifies the account that owns your pages, and losing it means losing the ability to edit them later.

A page per article, and what that is good for

  • Telegram channels. Publish the feed to Telegraph and to your channel, and readers get instant-loading pages instead of links that leave the app.
  • Mirrors for slow connections. A lightweight copy of each article, reachable where your own site is heavy or blocked.
  • Shareable plain text. Announcements and notices that need a URL but do not need a page on your site.
  • Archival simplicity. Pages that will still render in ten years because there is almost nothing to break.

What it is not is a replacement for your site. Telegraph pages carry no analytics, no design, no navigation and no way to keep a reader. Treat them as distribution, and keep the link back to the original.

Pairing Telegraph with a Telegram channel

The setup that makes the most of this is two Targets from one feed: one to Telegraph and one to a Telegram channel. Readers get a channel post they see in their normal Telegram flow, and the link in it opens as a page that loads instantly instead of sending them to a browser.

Telegram channels sit on the Ultimate plan and Telegraph on Professional, so the two are not on the same tier — but if you are already publishing to a Telegram channel, adding Telegraph costs nothing beyond the setup. For publishers whose audience is largely inside Telegram, it is one of the few genuinely high-leverage pairings on the list.

Setting it up, step by step

  1. Either have a Telegraph access token ready, or plan to let PostRSS create a Telegraph account for you.
  2. In PostRSS, open Accounts and choose Add new Telegraph account. Paste the token, or choose to have an account created.
  3. Open Targets and click Add feed. One feed going to one destination is one Target.
  4. In Target settings, choose Telegraph and the account you just connected.
  5. Click Add source. Set Type to RSS feed and paste your feed address into Link. Save.
  6. Check the first item that arrives. PostRSS checks the feed every 5 minutes, and every minute on Enterprise plans.

PostRSS publishes items that appear in the feed after the Target starts running. It does not import the back catalogue — the alternative would be a destination flooded with years of archive on its first day.

Check the feed before you check the integration

When a destination goes quiet, the feed is usually the cause. Open the feed URL in a browser first.

  • Anything new since you connected it? Only items appearing after the Target starts running are published.
  • Full text or a summary? A summary-only feed produces thin output, and no destination can restore text the feed never sent.
  • Absolute links? Relative URLs work on your site and break everywhere else.
  • Valid XML? A feed address that returns an HTML error page produces silence rather than an error.

All four are fixed in your content system.

Which plan includes it

Telegraph is included from the Professional plan. Each destination you connect counts as one Target, and your plan decides how many Targets and how many posts a month you get. An annual subscription is cheaper than paying monthly. Current limits per tier are on the pricing page, and the full lineup of 66 networks is on the supported networks page. The Telegraph page has the short version of the setup.

When pages stop appearing

  • The token is wrong or lost. The token identifies the account that owns the pages; without it, nothing can be published under that account.
  • Nothing new in the feed. Only items appearing after the Target starts running become pages.
  • Pages look empty. The source feed ships summaries rather than full text. That is a setting at the source.
  • Formatting looks flattened. Telegraph is deliberately minimal and supports a small set of formatting. Complex HTML will not survive intact.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a Telegram account to use Telegraph?

No. Telegraph works without one, and PostRSS can create a Telegraph account for you during setup if you do not already have an access token.

Why publish to Telegraph when I already have a website?

Mainly for readers inside Telegram, where a Telegraph page opens instantly and in place rather than sending them out to a normal web page. It is also useful as a lightweight mirror where connections are slow.

Does each article get its own page?

Yes. Every new feed item becomes its own Telegraph page, with its own URL you can share anywhere.

Will complex formatting survive?

Partly. Telegraph is deliberately minimal and supports a small set of formatting, so elaborate HTML is simplified. Text, headings, links and images are the safe ground.

Should I worry about duplicate content?

Telegraph pages are a copy of your article on another domain, so keep the link back to the original and treat them as distribution rather than as pages you expect to rank.

What happens if I lose the access token?

You lose the ability to edit pages published under that account. Store it the way you would any other credential.

Which plan includes Telegraph?

The Professional plan.

The bottom line

Telegraph is the least demanding destination on the list: no registration, no review, and a token PostRSS can create for you. Its value is specific rather than general — instant-loading pages for an audience that lives in Telegram, and a lightweight mirror where the ordinary web is slow. It is included from the Professional plan.
