Most content management systems, including WordPress and Joomla, generate a feed automatically without any extra configuration, though the exact URL and structure can vary by platform. PostRSS checks a connected feed every 5 minutes on standard plans, and every 1 minute on Enterprise plans, looking for new items to publish to whichever Targets you've configured. Understanding what a feed actually contains, title, link, publish date, summary, and often a featured image, helps explain why some posts format better than others once published automatically.
