If pasting the feed URL into your browser shows an error or empty page instead of XML content, the most common cause is that the page or category isn’t set up as a “blog type” menu item in Joomla (specifically, a Category Blog or Featured Articles layout) — Joomla only generates RSS output for these layout types, not for every menu item. Check your menu item’s type under Menus in the Joomla admin, and switch it to a Category Blog layout if needed.
