WordPress Autoposter
This tag covers general guides on auto-posting WordPress content to social media using the site's RSS feed through PostRSS, covering setup across Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and VKontakte. PostRSS can be pointed at a category-specific or tag-specific WordPress feed URL rather than the site-wide feed, which allows automating posting for only certain types of content. As with any connected feed, PostRSS checks a WordPress site's RSS output every 5 minutes on standard plans, and every 1 minute on Enterprise tiers, so new posts reach social media promptly. WordPress generates a default RSS feed automatically at /feed/ for every site, and PostRSS connects to that native feed directly, so no additional on-server plugin is needed and the site's own performance is unaffected. Because WordPress generates its feed automatically at /feed/, no plugin installation is required on the WordPress site itself. This tag serves as the general WordPress automation entry point before narrowing into a platform-specific tag.
